3 tips to get your vehicle ready for the spring!

Now that spring is officially here, there are a few things you can do to be ready for the season.

  1. Tire pressure.
  2. Tire tread quality.
  3. Battery Health.

Tire Pressure :

Check the pressure every two to four weeks, and always before setting off on longer journeys or if you’re carrying additional loads. Cold tires. You’ll get a more accurate reading if you check the pressure when the tires are cold, before the outside temperature rises and the tires are exposed to direct sunlight.

Tire tread quality:

Treadwear ratings are supposed to help us determine the value of a tire and answer questions like, How long will a tire last? And, Is the tire’s expected life worth its price?

Car Battery Health:

A healthy battery should read between 12.4V and 12.7V. A reading of just under — like 12.3V — can indicate your battery is only 75% charged.
